Black Creek Adult Day Program opened on November 16, 2020 and we look forward to many years of success. In Black Creek this is the only Adult Day Program where people get together, make new friendships, treasure pre-existing friendships, and have a purposeful visit.
Our mission is “To restore a sense of dignity, reduce isolation, improve quality of life and assist individuals to remain independent in the community”.
Our program provides a purposeful outing, socialization, hot lunch, physical assessment, exercise program, and share values and experiences. Our clients and staff share years of knowledge, experience, and history in a group setting.
We are happy to announce that we celebrated our 1st year anniversary and shared some stories. Brian shared that it has given him purpose in his day. He looks forward to the bus ride and a fun day. He lives alone and he has made friends at Adult Day Program. Mike loves coming to the program. He stated that it is the highlight of his day. His daughter shared that Adult Day Program has provided him with a unique friendship. He is happy to see his friends while enjoying mental stimulation, exercise classes and the hot lunch program.
Beryl enjoys music and friendship at Adult Day Program. We have a wonderful group of staff and volunteers who help deliver the services. All of them enjoy crafts, games, mental stimulation, music, exercise program, and of course the delicious meals. COVID-19 has its own challenges, but our team shows up at Halbe Hall smiling, and ready to create many memories. We are at Halbe Hall Monday to Friday from 10am-2pm. Through COVID-19 it became a place of friendship, where loving people get together enjoying life and creating memories while sharing a wealth of knowledge and years of experience.
